What I Teach
BASS
Technique, groove, tone, improvisation, repertoire and musicianship, from beginners through to advanced players.
MUSIC THEORY
Making theory practical and useful, with a focus on understanding how music works and applying it to your playing.
GUITAR
Electric and acoustic guitar, covering technique, chords, rhythm, lead playing, repertoire and practical musicianship.
TRANSCRIPTION
Developing your ear and learning to accurately work out music by ear, from individual bass lines to complete arrangements.
My Approach
Every lesson is tailored around your playing and what you want to achieve.
We can work on the areas that interest you most, whether that's technique, theory, repertoire, improvisation, transcription or simply becoming a more confident player.
With experience as a professional musician and Head of Bass at WaterBear, I bring both practical experience and formal musical knowledge to every lesson.
One-to-one online tuition
Lessons are taught online via Zoom and are tailored to your playing, experience and goals.
Lessons are shaped around what you want to learn, whether you're building your foundations, developing your technique or working towards a specific musical goal.
£45.50 per hour
30, 45 and 60-minute sessions are available.
